Mid-month Debt payoff update April 2024
As of April 12, 2024: my current debt payoff balance is $$ 14,650. Which means I paid off $5,045 in 2 months. Which isn't bad. So I'm basically paying off an average of $2500 a month towards my debt. I probably wont be able to do a debt update each month. I'll do it every 2 month instead. Another reason, why is because I have decided to push back one of my loans until 2025. This loan isn't even on my credit report, so it's not affecting my credit. So I'm not in a rush to pay it off lol. I'm just going to make the minimum payment of $25 until 2025.. I just want to focus on my credit cards because they have the highest interest amounts also. I just don't want to feel like a slave to my debt. I want to live my life!!!
In other news, I have my next trip booked!!!! Lol, so Gianny & I are going to Peppa pig theme park and Legoland !!!!! Yay lol =)
They have a sale going on right now, and I couldn't miss out on the chance to go!
So it's 3 parks: Lego Land, Peppa pig park, and the water park. It's only $29 for kids, which is not bad at all. So I'm going to get a rental , drive to winter haven and book a hotel. Gianny is going to be so excited! I even ordere us matching t-shirts.

Aruba: Day 3
Aruba Day 3, was just a chill day. We slept in, and headed out late. We had lunch at Fat tuesday's. It was so good, we just had to try it again. We took pictures on the board walk. Walked around, and stopped at souvenir shops. I got two souvenirs for gianny. Then we headed to the beach. we spent 3 hours just relaxing at the beach. The girls did some tube riding. I decided not to join, because I can't swim, and I was afraid of falling in the water lol. After the beach, we headed back to the airbnb, and went into the pool. For dinner, we had pasta at Gianni's, an italian restaurant in Noord. they sanged happy birthday for the birthday girl. I had the seafood posta. Then we went to 2 different clubs, and just chilled. That was the end of our trip. Here are some more pictures:
Aruba: Day 2
On day 2 in Aruba, we got so much done. We woke up in the Airbnb, got dress, and headed out for breakfast. We headed over to the Dutch pancake house in Oranjestad. The line was so long. People were waiting outside the restaurant waiting to be seated. We decided the wait wasn't worth it, and instead opted to go to a restaurant next door. It was called the cafe the plaza. I had pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage. I had it with cranberry juice. It was okay. They did take a whole to give us our food, and the restaurant wasn't busy. The bacon was salty. On our way out, we stopped at a Aruba Aloe store, where they sell body care products made of Aloe. So Aruba is known for the Aloe, and their products smell so good. We then headed to the factory that makes the products, where they offered a free tour of the factory and showed us how their products are made. Aruba smells so good, and now I know why. At the Airbnb, the dish detergent, body gel, shampoo, and conditioner were all made from the Aloe products. You can order the products online at https://arubaaloe.com/.
We headed back to the Airbnb, to change. We quickly got dressed and headed to our UTV/ATV tours. Man the tour was intense. We were literally driving UTVs, in the Aruba Desert. We went up and down the mountains, until we got to this secluded beach. It was rough. We got sand in our eyes and in our hair. But it was a lot of fun. The UTV were probably the best part of the trip. After the UTV, where we dropped them off there was this petting zoo called Philip's animal garden. We got to see so many animals. Like donkeys, sheep, ostriches, pigs, goats, snakes, rabbits, and a camel. Lol but when we first entered there was a donkey on the loose. LOl and there was barely any employees. This should have been our first red flag to turn around, but no we continued lol. Le's just say, we ended up getting chased by a sheep that was on the loose. The sheep ran so quick. I didn't even know that sheep could run so quick. My life flashed before my eyes, lol it was hilarious.
After that, we headed back to the Airbnb, shower and changed, and headed out for dinner. We had dinner at LG Smith's Steak & Chop House in Oranjestad The food was so good. The bread was so moist lol, It was pull apart. IT was soft, gooey, and buttery.
I had the Salmon, mashed potatoes, and Mac & Cheese. The food was good. My favorite dinner of the trip.

Aruba was a blast!!! Day 1.
So it's been almost a week since I've been back from Aruba. Aruba was a blast. Not only was it my first girl trip, Aruba was just a good time. We did many things in only 4 days. I didn't expect to like Aruba. But it really is a beautiful island.
Day 1
So on day 1, we arrived in Aruba and got our rental. There was a problem with the rental. So the rental we booked wasn't big enough to fit us all with all of our suitcases. So we had to switch to a bigger rental. We arrived in Aruba on a good Friday. So we headed to O'Niel Caribbean Kitchen in San Nicolas, only to find out it's closed. Man, we were starving. Mind you, our flight was at 11; it's now 5 p.m. So we decided let's head to the Airbnb, which was about 40 minutes away; it was located on the other side of the island. Our Airbnb was located in a beautiful gated community called Gold Coast Villas. Man, it was so beautiful. Just being in that Airbnb makes me want to go back to Aruba. LOL, maybe when I get married, I'll go with my husband and kids, rent the house for a week, and just have a good time. The house was perfect for us. When we arrived inside, the host left a cute happy birthday balloon decor and wine for my friend Mel. Since it was her birthday, we were celebrating. I feel like that was so nice. We definitely gave her a 5-star review. We then proceeded to run to the rooms. The first person in the room gets it. Now, mind you, there is a room downstairs. I just didn't want to be downstairs alone. So I ran upstairs to get a room. After we all showered and got situated, we headed out to get something to eat. We headed to Lola Taqueria for tacos, but the wait was so long that we didn't want to wait. So we then headed to Fat Tuesday's. Now I don't know if it's because we were hungry, but the food at Fat Tuesday was good!!! LOL. The burgers, wings, and fries were fresh. I had a frozen pina colada. We sat down, ate, and just had a great time. We took jello shots. After dinner, we headed to the casino. Cami wanted to play blackjack. I was sitting there, all confused. I didn't know what was going on. We ended our night by heading to a convenience store. We all bought detergent so that we could do our laundry before leaving. I also bought some floss and bottles of water.
