Aruba: Day 2

On day 2 in Aruba, we got so much done. We woke up in the Airbnb, got dress, and headed out for breakfast. We headed over to the Dutch pancake house in Oranjestad. The line was so long. People were waiting outside the restaurant waiting to be seated. We decided the wait wasn't worth it, and instead opted to go to a restaurant next door. It was called the cafe the plaza. I had pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage. I had it with cranberry juice. It was okay. They did take a whole to give us our food, and the restaurant wasn't busy. The bacon was salty. On our way out, we stopped at a Aruba Aloe store, where they sell body care products made of Aloe. So Aruba is known for the Aloe, and their products smell so good. We then headed to the factory that makes the products, where they offered a free tour of the factory and showed us how their products are made. Aruba smells so good, and now I know why. At the Airbnb, the dish detergent, body gel, shampoo, and conditioner were all made from the Aloe products. You can order the products online at https://arubaaloe.com/.
We headed back to the Airbnb, to change. We quickly got dressed and headed to our UTV/ATV tours. Man the tour was intense. We were literally driving UTVs, in the Aruba Desert. We went up and down the mountains, until we got to this secluded beach. It was rough. We got sand in our eyes and in our hair. But it was a lot of fun. The UTV were probably the best part of the trip. After the UTV, where we dropped them off there was this petting zoo called Philip's animal garden. We got to see so many animals. Like donkeys, sheep, ostriches, pigs, goats, snakes, rabbits, and a camel. Lol but when we first entered there was a donkey on the loose. LOl and there was barely any employees. This should have been our first red flag to turn around, but no we continued lol. Le's just say, we ended up getting chased by a sheep that was on the loose. The sheep ran so quick. I didn't even know that sheep could run so quick. My life flashed before my eyes, lol it was hilarious. After that, we headed back to the Airbnb, shower and changed, and headed out for dinner. We had dinner at LG Smith's Steak & Chop House in Oranjestad The food was so good. The bread was so moist lol, It was pull apart. IT was soft, gooey, and buttery. I had the Salmon, mashed potatoes, and Mac & Cheese. The food was good. My favorite dinner of the trip.
