Hey! It has been a long time since I last posted. So summer is 1/2 way done. I'm happy, because I need to get back to my full time schedule. I sit for the MCAT august 5th 😮 That alone is giving me anxiety. After I take this exam my schedule will consist of work, work, and more work! This is my first and only gap year where I'll just be working and not taking any classes at all. I've been working and taking classes since I was 16. I started college at 15 in high school for dual enrollment. My first job was at Dunkin Donuts at 16. Now I'm turning 26 on July 14. That's crazy. I've been working towards this dream of becoming a physician for a decade 😐 Like where did the time go???
So right now I'm working side jobs, studying, taking care of my daughter, and finishing up my medical school applications. I want to submit my application by July 21st, the latest. I sit for my casper exam July 7th. So as you can see I have a lot planned for the month of July. I also have an interview for my first clinical job yay 😆 on July 21st. This will be amazing to do during my gap year. Medical schools will be able to see I'm keeping myself busy, and not just sitting around. I'm anxious, because ready or not I have to take the MCAT. I need a score. I have to sit for this exam. If I don't get accepted into a US School, I will be headed to a Caribbean school Spring 2023 🙆
Plan A: Accepted to a school in south Florida
Plan B: Accepted to any US school
Plan C: Off to the Caribbean👀
Right now I'm currently sitting at the local library, planning the month of July out.
So after July, I plan on sending my daughter to go live with her Aunt. This way I'll be able to work full time hours and save. This is going to be hard for me to do, but I have to make sacrifices now so we can live comfortable later. She will be enrolled full time in school where her Aunt lives. Whereas if she stays with me, she will be at daycare all day not learning anything. I rather my daughter be learning.
So please keep me in prayers, I just need to get through July, sit for my exam in August, send my daughter off and I will be able to finally work and save, while waiting to see the result of my 2022-2023 Application cycle.
Bye!!!!!
