Hey everyone! Time for another weekly check-in. Today is May 9, which means I’ve got just 10 days before heading back to college for the summer semester—and only 10 days until summer classes begin. That gives me 9 more days to really enjoy this break.
In just 14 days, I’ll also be finishing up my time at the middle school. Honestly, it feels a little strange—like I’m constantly counting down. I think that’s what happens when you're doing work you're not passionate about. This is my last year working at the middle school, and I’ve made the decision not to return in Fall 2026. It’s just too much, and I can’t keep pushing myself through something that doesn’t bring me joy. I’d rather earn less and actually be happy.
Looking ahead, my plan is to reapply to a CAA (Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant) school and hopefully start in Fall 2025. There are only two CAA programs near me, so I’m really hoping to get into one—but at this point, I’m willing to move wherever I’m accepted.
If that doesn’t work out, I’ve been seriously considering moving to the Caribbean to attend medical school. The truth is, I’m still figuring out what I really want to do. It’s a lot to think about, but I’m keeping faith and praying for clarity.
